Job description

1. Leading the maintenance and facilities team for the maintenance and repair works of entire factory including building facilities, M&E, Multimedia and telecommunication system (Network, Server and telephone), maintenance and repair as well as fire protection system

2. Plan, manage and oversee the daily operations and to provide support and technical advice from engineering perspective for continuous organizational productivity improvement

3. Take lead on any special engineering project especially in energy conservation initiative

4. Plan and organize periodic preventive maintenance activities for all machines, tools & equipment in order to minimize the breakdown/inefficiency in production

5. Organize, assign, review, train and evaluate the work of all maintenance staff

6. Monitor third party contractors and vendors performance (quality of works and lead time)

7. Recommend and implement company goals, objectives, and practices for providing effective and efficient service

8. To perform equipment, machines and tools inspection and qualification process in making sure it is fit to be used before mass production or when resume the production

9. Receives, investigates, and responds to all maintenance & engineering matters, technical aspects, mechanical & electrical, and warranty claims in a professional manner

10. Complies with all regulations set by the regulation e.g. DOSH, DOE, MOH, JAKIM, ISO2200:2005, HACCP, GMP & FSSC and advise senior management on necessary actions required

11. To develop and review standard operating procedures and systems from time to time as and when necessary, in meeting the efficiency and cost control

12. Maintain optimum supplies inventory for tooling items & spare parts by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, reviewing and approving related documents

13. To provide technical support and advise to other group of companies as and when requested

14. A good team player and able to communicate and maintain good relationship with other department head to achieve the company’s goals.

15. Ready for any ad hoc assignment as when requested.

Qualifications : MINIMUM BACHELOR DEGREE IN ENGINEERING (ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC/MECHATRONICS)

Experience : MINIMUM 3 YEARS IN MANAGERIAL CAPACITY
