Vertiv is looking for an experienced Engineering Lead – Liquid Cooling to spearhead operations at its Malaysia facility, providing technical leadership and strategic direction for the local team while supporting the regional engineering leader in driving the successful introduction and execution of new product developments across APAC.

Business unit job summary:

Working closely with the team to introduce new product development at Malaysia new facility

Responsibilities:

• Having 10+ years of experience in leading team of engineering to support development activity
• Work with engineering leader for delivering new product development and align regional resources to meet business requirements
• Develop new engineering team for Malaysia facility comprises high talents in field of HVAC for mechanical engineer / electrical engineer / change analyst / test engineer / control engineer
• Be a role model for team to meet business requirements
• Strong credential about HVAC product development working with global team
• Good understanding about new product development processes working with multidisciplinary team from different regions
• Develop budgetary and planning to maintain future business requirement
• Enhance team talent with personalized training and maintain harmony among teams for the success of liquid cooling

Education & certifications:

• Post graduate in mechanical engineering preferably management and project management studies job description

• Minimum graduate degree in mechanical engineering. Post graduate preferable
• Added candidature for having business management / project management studies
• At least 10 + years of experience to manage engineering teams
• Strong technical understanding about HVAC product – preferably data center
