Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Technician to support the MemTech Engineering Lab. This role involves hands-on work in lab operations, logistics, equipment maintenance, and engineering support tasks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Support

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including documentation, packing, coordination, and tracking.
• Ensure all logistics activities are executed accurately and within required timelines.
• Provide shipment status updates to stakeholders within 24 hours.

2. Lab Operations

• Perform setup, installation, assembly, maintenance, calibration, and testing of lab equipment.
• Ensure all lab activities are conducted in a timely and safe manner.
• Support vendor visits and escort duties, including outside normal working hours when required.

3. Engineering Support

• Assist the engineering team in data collection, experiments, analysis, and report preparation.
• Execute assigned technical tasks independently, with proper prioritization and time management.
• Operate basic electronic instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

4. Lab Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records for all lab equipment, tools, and materials.
• Perform regular stock counts and initiate replenishment or repairs when necessary.
• Ensure the lab complies with all safety and housekeeping standards.

5. Debugging & Repairs

• Troubleshoot and repair lab equipment and tools to minimize downtime.
• Respond to equipment issues within 24 hours and coordinate with vendors for resolution when needed.
• Interpret technical documentation and circuit diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of working experience in a lab, technical support, or equipment maintenance environment.
• Able to support tasks at client site in Batu Kawan when required.
