Job summary
Hong Leong Yamaha Motor is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions across manufacturing processes. The role involves integrating robotics, machine vision, AMRs and PLCs, and performing installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
You will develop and maintain technical documentation, collaborate with production, maintenance and IT, and train technicians and end-users while staying current with automation trends and applying improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions across manufacturing processes.
- Ability to integrate hardware and software systems including robotics, vision, AMRs and PLCs.
- Proven track record in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and documentation.
