Job summary

A leading oil & gas company in Miri, Sarawak is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Well Intervention team. This internship offers hands-on experience in upstream operations, technical planning, and performance optimization. Candidates should have an engineering background and demonstrate strong self-discipline and communication skills. Qualifications

• Engineering academic background – preferably Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related fields.
• Strong self-discipline and the ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Eager to learn, curious, and willing to take on new challenges.
• Good analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, and execution readiness for well intervention activities.
• Assist engineers in preparing technical dossiers, risk assessments, and program documentation.
• Participate in data gathering, well performance analysis, and post-job reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safety observations.
