Qualifications

We are looking for an Engineering Executive to ensure the implementation, coordination, and supervision of the maintenance and improvement of the factory’s plant and equipment, excluding electrical equipment and instrumentation, to meet production targets.

A Day in the Life...
  • Ensure flawless execution of Production QMS and HACCP SOPs, troubleshoot, and resolve line quality deviations related to maintenance and equipment.
  • Promptly take corrective actions in all engineering areas to minimize failures.
  • Manage routine maintenance by setting priorities to ensure implementation of the AMM schedule (PM 03) and optimize equipment performance by product.
  • Control the routine M&R budget for production lines, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering deviations, including breakdowns.
  • Follow prescribed guidelines to control material, labor, GFOH, and M&R variances.
  • Coach, train, and motivate MDT1 teams to achieve targets related to Quality, Supply, Speed, Cost, and People Management.
  • Maintain good discipline with fitters and operators, formally appraise fitter performance annually, develop staff, and conduct training, including identifying training needs.
  • Implement SHE SOPs and participate in identifying and resolving safety and environmental hazards.
  • Represent MDT1 teams at the MDT2 level, promote Continuous Improvement ideas, and participate in C.I. projects under the guidance of the Production Manager.
What Will Make You Successful
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing or the consumer goods industry.
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering.
  • Recognized engineering diploma or apprenticeship with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience handling machinery such as Wolf, Robema, and Ishida is an advantage.
