This senior leadership role will lead a team of engineersto provide overall direction of assigned projectswith latest technology innovation andactivelydrive improvements for new& existing products.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to the engineering team, guiding project direction and embracing the latest technological innovations.
Drive the development of new products and technologies while enhancing existing offerings.
Identify and evaluate cost-effective raw material alternatives and implement cost-optimization strategies.
Oversee the end-to-end development process — from product conception and prototyping to final production.
Cultivate strong partnerships with both customers and suppliers to support product success.
Take ownership of high-priority projects, ensuring their timely and successful completion.
Ensure robust project management practices, including regular progress tracking and follow-ups.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and operations to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
Manage the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to large-scale manufacturing.
Promote modern engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices across the team.
Administer budgets, resource planning, and project scheduling to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in product development within the electronics sector.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies and customer/market demands.
Proven track record of successful product development and delivery.
Strategic and analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
