Job Descriptions

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and develop new products to meet market trends and demand, managing product development from lab scale to pilot run.
2. Conduct R&D studies for value addition, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, or cost reduction of existing products.
3. Carry out hands-on research on process enhancement, new material development, or new technology for quality improvement or cost reduction initiatives.
4. Offer technical support on production processes, raw material analysis, quality troubleshooting, engineering design, and customer inquiries.
5. Provide engineering solutions for improving process efficiency, automation, and line design.
6. Work closely with internal functions such as Marketing and Production to provide product expertise and technical support for product development to achieve business goals.
7. Develop relationships with external partners such as research collaborators, raw material suppliers, and testing laboratories.
8. Communicate regularly with reporting superiors regarding project progress, results, and analysis through reports, presentations, and meetings.
9. Ensure lab equipment is well maintained, properly utilized, and calibrated periodically.
10. Take additional responsibilities as instructed by the immediate superior.
11. Follow the scope of authority as per work process procedures or instructions.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Material, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) or equivalent from reputable universities.
2. Proficiency in English & Malay (spoken and written).
3. Results-oriented with strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
4. Pleasant personality and ability to interact at all levels of personnel.
