Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kuantan, Pahang seeks experienced Process Engineers to enhance processes and support laboratory work. Qualifications

Job description

Opportunity exists for 3 (three) experienced Process Engineer to become part of our team at Kuantan plant. We seek experienced engineers with interest in process and quality improvement initiatives as well as laboratory and research work. He/ she must be keen on self-development in process and product development, disciplined to work with less supervision and highly motivated.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyse existing process and workflow, identify opportunities for improvement, address issues with effective solutions and monitor post-improvement activities.
• Support lab activities in process and product development including formulation, synthesis, process validation, characterisation and applications performance.
• Support the quality improvement of existing product and maintenance of a robust SOPs as well as QA/QC processes.
• Implement the clear and operational procedure in safety, health and environment management.
• Monitor daily operations, produce technical report and provide technical support

Requirements of the successful candidate

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or other related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/ chemical industries. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Very good knowledge of safety procedures, OSHA, environmental rules and regulations.
• Strong project management & leadership skills, detail-oriented, organized, problem-solver, time management and great communications skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.
