A recruitment firm is seeking an Engineer (Signalling & PSD) to assist in OSIT activities for railway systems in Johor Bahru. Role Overview:
As an Engineer (Signalling & PSD), you will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and supervising OSIT (Off-Site Integrated Test) activities. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful integration and functionality of the RTS train system with subsystems such as signalling and platform screen doors (PSD).
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise OSIT testing and commissioning activities based on approved procedures.
Manage interface, integration, and functional testing involving signalling subsystems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and integration.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues during testing phases.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Oversee pre-OSIT preparations and post-OSIT closure activities.
Mentor assistant engineers and maintain accurate test documentation.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (min. 3 years’ experience), or
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (5–8 years’ experience)
Preferred Experience:
Railway systems, RAMS, testing & commissioning, and rail operational systems.
Skills:
Microsoft Office
Project coordination, procurement, inventory, and logistics
Familiarity with ISO, IEEE, IEC, and DOSH safety standards
Other:
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Primary work location: Johor Bahru
