Linktel Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced engineer in Manufacturing /Process/ Equipment to join our growing team in Penang. As a full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and production processes to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Worked with R&D engineers and completed optical transceiver product introduction to the production line.
Responsible for building production line workstations and test stations.
Responsible for analyzing defects in the manufacturing process, formulating improvement plans, and improving product yield.
Responsible for the management of production equipment, daily maintenance, and calibration.
Responsible for the configuration of the MES system and the management of the production process flow.
Responsible for setting up the product repair process and making the repair standard process.
Perform other tasks assigned by superior leaders.
Proficiency in communication protocols such as IEEE 802.3 and SFF is preferred.
Proficiency in using software such as EXCEL, WORD, Protel, and CAD.
Able to communicate with Headquarters in Wuhan, China, and all races in Malaysia.
Possess a Vocational Diploma or any higher certification in Electronics & Optics.
Agree to work in dust‑free clothing.
Proficiency in using software such as EXCEL, WORD, Protel, and CAD.
Responsible for the company's process equipment full cycle management, handling asset and calibration management.
Standardize and train staff on new manufacturing equipment, including creating working instructions and procedures.
Lead technicians to troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment‑related problems, including modification if required, to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement an efficient and cost‑effective maintenance programme for manufacturing equipment.
Ensure scheduled maintenance and availability of parts are effectively carried out to minimize equipment downtime and production disruptions. Establish an essential spare parts inventory.
Participate in the verification and review of new equipment, and get involved in equipment selection.
Initiated continuous improvement to enhance equipment/tester productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
Perform calibration datasheet/certificate review, and be in charge of calibration activities.
Ensure all calibration documents and practices comply with applicable procedures and quality standards.
