Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, coordinate, and follow-up on sputter systems start-up / conversion activities and process documentation.
2. Audit sputter parameters and practices periodically, including online SPC and procedure conformance.
3. Lead troubleshooting of sputter process issues (common causes), work closely with shift process team to sustain, troubleshoot, and improve sputter processes to achieve utilization, yield, and quality goals.
4. Lead sputter process improvement projects (SU/STT/Cost/Quality/PPH & others), including new product/machine/process qualification.
5. Supervise, coach, and train process technicians, engineering specialists, and characterization technicians.
6. Monitor sputter process parameters, including online SPC and procedure conformance.
7. Manage sputter machine start-up, process characterization (for new products and process changes), and qualification.
8. Participate in and lead process improvement initiatives related to sputter technology.
9. Conduct FMEA and other related activities.
10. Ensure safety and health regulations are followed, and perform jobs safely.
11. Assist in troubleshooting sputter yield issues and work with yield teams to meet yield goals, including 0725 Operation Yield Improvement.
12. Perform other supervisory and operational tasks as assigned.
13. Improve media magnetic baseline, process stability, and repeatability through recipe tuning and optimization.
14. Oversee new product qualifications.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Material Science and Engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Preferred:

• Studies or thesis related to Vacuum Technology

Skills:

• Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written)
