Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled individual to manage utility installations and maintenance duties. The role includes designing automated systems and providing technical support with a focus on improving productivity. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Mechatronic Engineering and has a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment or FMCG industry.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to troubleshoot electromechanical faults.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all utility installations and attend to machinery and facilities breakdowns.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per Preventive Maintenance Checklist.
• Team up with production to design and execute modifications to enhance productivity.
• Design and maintain automated systems for efficiency and safety.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot automation hardware/software.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

To maintain all utility installations and to attend to all machinery and facilities breakdown. To carry out preventive maintenance as per Preventive Maintenance Checklist. To team up with production to propose, design and execute modification of machinery/techniques, if any, to enhance productivity. To design, develop, and maintain automated systems that improve efficiency, safety, and productivity. Troubleshoot and maintain automation hardware/software and provide technical support. Create and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, system architecture, and user. To perform any other duties as assigned by your superior from time to time.
