Job description

Assist in ensuring efficient operation and functions of Electrical Section, Facilities Department.

Ensure all company`s electrical assets and installations are well maintained.

Ensure operational excellence by ensuring uninterruptable water supply at critical installation such as Bukit Dumbar, Bukit Gedong, Teluk Kumbar, Padang Brown and Farlim.

Ensure optimum and efficient utilization of energy at company’s installations.

Plan for timely upgrading of company’s installation.

Ensure all company’s installations and operations are incompliance with relevant acts and regulations governing the industry.

Ensure critical installation are safe from sabotage, theft and vandalism.

Vet & review new planning submission plans and ensure timely reply.

Ensure availability of skilled, competent and motivated workforce.

Contribute towards effective relations with relevant government agencies, regulators and organizations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and approved by Malaysian Government
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer would be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
• Proficient in both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, highly initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Possess ability to work under pressure, tight schedules and in stringent environment

Positions offered is contract for one ( 1 ) year prior to the absorption into permanent posts and subject to job performance.
