About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer/Executive Production Planning & Control to join our dynamic team at Tenaga Switchgear Sdn. Bhd. This full-time role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this strategic position, you will play a crucial part in optimising our manufacturing operations and ensuring efficient production planning and control.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing effective production plans to meet customer demand and sales forecasts

Monitoring and adjusting production schedules to respond to changes in inventory, resource availability, and customer requirements

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies

Analysing production data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing inventory control measures

Preparing production-related reports and presentations for management

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or any related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making

Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software (e.g. RPS in-house system)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
