Job Summary

Support/executethe electronics module development, apply the hardware platform into projects, and record/update all technical documents in the system under guidance of specialists.

Job Scope

  1. Evaluate and select electronics platforms for use in power tool applications with support and guidance of engineers and specialists from a wide variety of technical disciplines.
  2. Create and maintain technical documentation.
  3. Perform functional tests of test units with support and guidance of engineers and specialists.
  4. Validate and implement essential improvements to the electronics to pass Bosch internal qualification.
  5. Prepare essential technical documents for electronics/tool certification with support and guidance of engineers and specialists.
  6. Follow the project schedule according to the product development process.
  7. Improve circuit design based on input from project team members with support and guidance of engineers and specialists.
  8. Support line and warranty teams with electronic device changes and updates with support and guidance of engineers and specialists.
  9. Ensure all documents are up-to-date based on engineering change (EC) requests.
  10. Apply all processes according to valid PT and Bosch procedures published in BGN with support and guidance of engineers and specialists.
  11. Support and take over special tasks at section and department levels as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a related area, hardware development for consumer goods, household appliances, automotive or industrial applications, motor control design applications.
  3. Exposure to electronics circuit design, especially embedded design.
  4. Motor control, Li-ion battery charging and discharging are preferred.
  5. PCB design and schematic design experience (Altium Designer or other EDA tools, >1 year continuously).
  6. Understanding of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) process.
  7. Knowledge about electronic components (e.g., resistor, capacitor, signal/power diode, transistor, power MOSFET, MOSFET driver IC), understanding the parameters.
  8. Understanding EMC/EMI/ESD.
  9. Ability to use multimeter, oscilloscope, etc., for troubleshooting.
  10. Transfer of technical requirements into an electronic solution by applying structured system development methodologies.
  11. Understanding cause-effect relationships of technical details.
  12. Basic SAP user.
  13. PC applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
