Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Malacca is seeking an Engineer Component Verification to join our Research & Development team. You will set up and maintain laboratory bench characterization equipment, perform electrical characterization, and deliver detailed data analyses to support Development, Project, and Application teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor electronics, and demonstrates strong MOSFET

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
• More than 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor electronics.
• Strong technical expertise with interest in MOSFET technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with collaborative mindset.
• Good oral and written presentation skills for communicating technical information.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain laboratory bench characterization equipment.
• Conduct electrical characterization testing and provide accurate results and data analysis reports.
• Develop automation tools for laboratory characterization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with stakeholders across remote sites through regular meetings.
• Attend bi-weekly staff meetings to align with team objectives and milestones.
• Participate in annual innovation projects within the CV team.

Key responsibilities in your new role

Set up and maintain laboratory bench characterization equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of characterization activities.

Conduct electrical characterization testing and provide accurate results, including detailed electrical data analysis reports, to Development, Project, and Application teams.

Develop automation tools for laboratory characterization to improve efficiency and accuracy, while creating systematic documentation, handbooks, and guidelines.

Communicate regularly with key stakeholders across remote sites through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings, providing timely and accurate project updates.

Attend bi-weekly staff meetings to ensure alignment with team objectives and project milestones.

Participate in annual innovation projects with CV team members to develop innovative ideas and solutions that benefit the broader R&D community.

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field.

More than 3 years of relevant working experience with in-depth knowledge of semiconductor electronics.

Strong technical expertise with a keen interest in learning new skills and technologies, particularly in MOSFET technologies.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset.

Good oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information and project updates clearly to various stakeholders.
