Singtel is using AWS and Azure platforms to accelerate our transformation to become a TechCo. The purpose of this role is to enhance operational efficiency and scalability through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices besides enabling Singtel to provide an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, your role is to work with the rest of team members on the design, implementation and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. Your deep knowledge on AWS and Azure will indirectly help business to improve systems availability. You will be working in an agile environment, while adhering to industry best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
Make an Impact by:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure
Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep and CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources
Collaborate with development/project teams to identify and implement cloud-based solutions that meet application, business and security needs
Implement CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security measures following DevSecOps principles
Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability and security, responding to incidents and alerts as necessary
Conduct regular assessments of cloud architectures to identify areas for optimization and improvement
Document cloud architecture, processes, and best practices for development and operation teams
Provide technical support and guidance for cloud-related queries and issues
Skills for Success
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
3-4 years proven experience with cloud services on AWS/Azure, including architecture design and implementation
Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep and CloudFormation
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for cloud environment
Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, tools, and methodologies
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management
