Job summary

TeamMathics' is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher (Secondary) to deliver engaging maths lessons at our education centre. The role focuses on building a strong mathematical foundation and supporting learners of all abilities through clear explanations and ongoing assessment.

You will assess progress, maintain records, and collaborate with a dynamic team to continuously improve teaching methods while fostering curiosity and positive student engagement.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct classes in English; Mandarin preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in teaching maths or related coaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in mathematics.
• Passion for education and making a positive impact on learners.
• Collaborative team player with enthusiasm and energy.
• Competence in Mathematics at school/university level.
• Experience with children and engaging learners of varying abilities.
• Solid knowledge of mathematics education approaches.

Responsibilities

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
• Deliver engaging Maths lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
• Maintain accurate student records and share progress with guardians.
• Participate in staff development and complete training before teaching.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and stimulate curiosity.
• Prepare assignments and mark them punctually.
• Assist with daily operations and adapt teaching methods as needed.
