Job summary

Erudite Innovation in Malaysia seeks an experienced Integration Tester to analyse requirements and design tests for system integration across banking platforms. You will validate interfaces, data flows and API integrations using Postman/SOAP UI in an Agile environment.

Role demands 3–8+ years in SIT, strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, and banking domain exposure. Opportunity to work with middleware, ESB and messaging tech on complex data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience in Integration Testing / SIT.
• Hands-on experience with REST / SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Postman, SOAP UI or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with middleware or messaging technologies is desirable.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with SIT, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Banking / financial-services experience is highly preferred.
• Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements for system integration.
• Develop integration test strategies, scenarios, test cases and test data.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing across banking systems.
• Validate data flow between source and target applications.
• Test interfaces between Core Banking, Payment systems, Cards, APIs.
• Validate REST and SOAP API integrations and data formats.
• Verify message headers, payloads and status codes.
• Validate JSON, XML and other message formats.
• Verify source-to-target data reconciliation.
• Perform SIT, regression and UAT support testing.
• Identify, document and track integration defects.
• Participate in defect triage with Development, BA, Architecture and Support teams.
