Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead daily operations within the EMS electronics manufacturing environment
• Plan, optimize, and continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency and throughput
• Manage production schedules, delivery timelines, and output targets to ensure timely customer fulfillment
• Supervise equipment functionality and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Ensure production quality and consistency in accordance with high industry standards
• Collaborate closely with R&D, quality assurance, supply chain, and equipment teams to ensure alignment across departments
• Act as a key coordinator for resource allocation and execution of daily operational tasks
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in manufacturing operations
• Support the establishment and growth of overseas operations in Malaysia

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in EMS manufacturing management
• Proven expertise in production planning, process optimization, and equipment oversight
• Experience managing SMT manufacturing lines, preferably with supervisory responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with Panasonic CM402/602/NPM SMT equipment
• Strong communication and coordination skills across departments
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, lead teams, and ensure production continuity
• Experience working in Southeast Asia or other international manufacturing environments
• Intermediate-level proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
• Willingness to relocate long-term to Malaysia and adapt to the local working environment

Position 2: 【EMS Business Group】SMT Engineer/Supervisor

We are looking for professionals with SMT process technology, equipment maintenance management and quality improvement capabilities! As an SMT engineer/supervisor, you will be responsible for optimizing production line operations, enhancing production efficiency and developing a local technical team to ensure stable production while continuously improving quality. If you are eager to use your technical expertise to optimize production efficiency, this will be a great opportunity for you!

Location: Ipoh, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize SMT production processes to improve efficiency, reduce material loss, and control manufacturing costs
• Lead and develop on-site technical and engineering teams to ensure continuous improvement and long-term technical growth
• Establish and manage SMT equipment maintenance and repair systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational stabillity
• Monitor and analyze production quality, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions to improve product yield and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth manufacturing operations
• Support the technical foundation for GBM’s overseas expansion efforts by helping to build a high-performing local team
• Adapt to the local working environment and actively contribute to the success of GBM’s Malaysia operations

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SMT engineer or production supervisor
• Proven expertise in SMT process optimization and defect analysis
• Familiarity with Panasonic CM402 / 602 / NPM SMT equipment
• Strong leadership in building and managing engineering or maintenance teams
• Solid understanding of equipment maintenance systems and repair processes
• Prior experience working in Southeast Asian factories is preferred
• Intermediate-level proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
• Willingness to relocate long-term to Malaysia and thrive in an international ennvironment
