FirstStep Psychology & Child Development Centre in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist for a full-time role, five days per week. You will conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with parents, prepare reports, and contribute to development plans while adhering to MAHPC guidelines and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Recognised Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and MAHPC registration where required.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• Strong skills in psychological assessment and clinical interviewing.
• Ability to interpret standardised assessment tools and write reports.

Responsabilités

• Conduct clinical interviews and psychological assessments for children and adolescents.
• Develop case formulations and intervention plans based on findings.
• Provide psychological interventions and therapy to young clients.
• Consult with parents and caregivers with psychoeducation and guidance.
• Prepare assessment reports and clinical notes accurately and professionally.
• Communicate findings to parents clearly and sensitively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support care.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Make referrals when indicated and maintain confidentiality.
