Job summary

Canaan Inc. in Penang, Malaysia is looking for an experienced embedded developer to maintain and debug chip BSPs, and develop drivers for various peripherals. You will be involved in Linux kernel customization and optimizing system performance.

The ideal candidate has around 3 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and practical skills in U-Boot and embedded software testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in related fields.
• Around 3 years of experience in embedded development.
• Familiar with RISC-V or ARM architecture.
• Proficient in U-Boot.
• Practical experience with UART/SPI/I2C or NAND/NOR Flash.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for in-house chip BSP maintenance and debugging.
• Complete development and debugging of various drivers.
• Take part in MCU firmware design.
• Troubleshoot system boot issues.
• Conduct automated testing for drivers and kernel.
