Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a technically adept engineer to provide support for semiconductor and electronic component products in Malaysia. Responsibilities include guiding customers in component selection and system architecture, and assisting with product evaluations and software testing.

You will create reference designs, application notes, and technical documentation, deliver product demonstrations, and promote MCU solutions, power devices, sensors, and connectivity products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics/related field required.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year experience in embedded software, MCU applications, hardware design, or field application/sales engineering.
• Hands-on with MCU evaluation kits and microcontrollers.
• Skilled in schematic review, circuit debugging, and PCB layout analysis.
• Familiarity with MCU peripherals (ADC, PWM, Timer, DMA, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB).
• Proficient with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers).
• Knowledge of power electronics, motor control, industrial automation, HVAC, home appliances, or IoT is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Experience supporting product evaluations and customer projects.
• Background in semiconductor/electronic components/embedded solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for semiconductor and electronic component products.
• Guide customers in component selection and system architecture.
• Support product evaluation, software testing, debugging, and validation.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Create reference designs, application notes, and technical documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Promote semiconductor solutions, MCUs, power devices, sensors, connectivity products, and system-level solutions.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet revenue goals.
