Job summary

Altera in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Embedded IP Design Engineer who is an ambitious student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. You will gain hands-on experience with C/C++, Python, Verilog, and FPGA concepts while supporting real-world IP development.

This role emphasizes independent problem solving, quality, and teamwork across multi-site groups, with opportunities to contribute quickly engineered solutions for complex problems

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar and:

• 3+ months of experience or coursework in one, or more, of the following: C/C++, Python, digital logic, FPGAs, Verilog, or similar.
