ELV ENGINEER (SENAWANG, SEREMBAN) [Job Code 2611141A]

Role Summary:

The ELV Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, testing, and commissioning all Extra Low Voltage systems required for the site. The role ensures smooth integration of security, communications, monitoring, and control systems with the overall building and data centre infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Assist the M&E Manager in planning and executing ELV systems in line with project milestones and operational requirements.

Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, architectural and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems.

Coordinate and supervise installation, testing and commissioning of the following systems:

Card Access Control Systems

Building Management System (BMS)

Public Address (PA) and Intercom Systems

Telephone and Structured Cabling (Telco)

Security Systems

IT Network Infrastructure such as Racks, Patch Panels and Cable Trays

Coordinate with telecom providers for incoming service lines and main distribution frame (MDF) termination.

Ensure integration of Data Centre Operating System (DCOS) with electrical systems (power monitoring, efficiency, alarms).

Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Prepare and maintain installation records, testing reports, commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and checklists.

Support troubleshooting and rectification of ELV system faults during installation and operations.

Reports to the Operations Manager.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV systems installation and commissioning.

Data centre construction or mission-critical facility experience is an added advantage.

Good knowledge of CCTV, BMS, access control, structured cabling, and integrated systems.

Familiarity with local codes, safety standards and project documentation practices.

Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Proficient in English and Chinese language.

Must be willing to work in Seremban/Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
