This role ensures compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and productivity goals while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize electropolishing processes and parameters for new and existing products.

Monitor and control process variables (e.g., current density, temperature, electrolyte concentration) to maintain consistent surface quality.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for process deviations and quality issues.

Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure surface finish requirements are met.

Select and maintain electropolishing equipment, including tanks, power supplies, and filtration systems.

Ensure all electropolishing operations comply with internal specifications and external industry standards (e.g., ASTM, SEMI).

Prepare and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process validation reports.

Lead trials and testing for new materials, parts, and process improvements.

Train operators and technicians on electropolishing procedures and safety practices.

Support audits and customer visits with technical explanations and documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in surface treatment or metal finishing, ideally with electropolishing experience.

Strong knowledge of electrochemical principles and electropolishing systems.

Familiar with stainless steel, titanium, and specialty alloy finishing.

Experience with process control systems, lab testing (e.g., surface roughness, corrosion resistance), and safety protocols for chemical handling.

Proficient in MS Office and able to work with technical documentation and CAD/drawings.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
