Job summary

VIVAX METROTECH SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks a QC Technician to perform in-process and outgoing inspections ensuring products meet specifications. You will record results, identify issues, and escalate to the Quality Engineer as needed.

The role requires a Cert/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent engineering, plus fluent Bahasa Melayu and English communication. At least 2 years in quality or inspection and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least a Cert/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent engineering.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English with engineers and supervisors.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process or outgoing inspections according to plans and specs.
• Verify workmanship, assembly condition, labeling, packaging, and appearance.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality reports.
• Identify non-conforming materials and report to QC Leader.
• Support containment actions for quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist Quality Engineer in investigating non-conformance and root cause analysis.
