Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled technician to operate production test equipment, troubleshoot and repair defective products, and monitor test performance and yield information. You will perform assembly/system level troubleshooting, field board debugging, and debug WIP inventory, while supporting engineering changes and documentation needs.

You will also operate test equipment (flying probe, ICT, FT), assist in training documentation, and participate in reactive maintenance of test systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Telecommunication Engineering with at least 1 year of Debug/ Functional Test experience.
• Knowledge in circuit analysis of schematic diagrams (Digital and Analog).
• Strong knowledge in Functional Test and debug.
• Willing to work shifts (day and night shift rotation).

Responsibilities

• Operate production test equipment, troubleshoot and repair defective products, maintain test equipment, monitor test performance and yield information, and provide technical support to other focus factory personnel.
• Assembly/system level troubleshooting to component level.
• Field board debugging and analyzing failure boards.
• Debug WIP inventory control.
• Support implementation of engineering change orders.
• Operate test equipment (may include flying probe, In-circuit test, functional).
• Support the development of documentation for operational or technical training.
• Support reactive maintenance (test equipment).
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
