Job description

As an Electrical and Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and devices powering Bomb Battle’s attractions. You’ll also provide frontline technical support for any system failures, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum guest satisfaction. This hybrid role requires both hands-on electrical expertise and strong problem-solving skills in a high-paced, entertainment-based environment.

Electrical Setup & Maintenance

  • Design, install, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, control panels, and power supply for attractions and outlet infrastructure.
  • Ensure all systems comply with local electrical and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid outages or breakdowns.

Game Attraction Support

  • Support installation and connection of game attraction hardware (e.g., sensors, neon lighting, blasters, projectors, dynamo setups).
  • Assist in integrating electrical systems with microcontrollers, PLCs, or IoT-based setups.
  • Coordinate with the hardware engineer to execute wiring plans for new attractions.

Technical Troubleshooting & On-Site Support

  • Act as first responder for any electrical or technical issues reported by outlets.
  • Diagnose faults in real-time and perform repairs or recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical training and documentation to outlet managers or staff for basic upkeep.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed logs of repairs, replacements, and upgrades performed at each outlet.
  • Assist in preparing safety checklists and electrical compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with the tech department to document schematics, wiring diagrams, and hardware configurations.

Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  • Assist in sourcing reliable electrical components, tools, and safety equipment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or electricians when external servicing or rewiring is needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical wiring, repair, or facilities support.
  • Familiarity with AC/DC wiring, control systems, and low-voltage equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and blueprints.
  • Basic knowledge of microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) is a plus.
  • Willing to travel between outlets and work after-hours when necessary.
