Job summary

YTK Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and monitor electrical systems at our Negeri Sembilan facility. The role requires basic education and an electrical qualification, with 1–2 years of related experience and the flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.

You will perform wiring, repairs, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis, ensuring installations meet safety standards and keeping detailed maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electrical-related field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
• Able to work under supervision and handle emergency situations.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, or on-call when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and ensure safe, efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Carry out electrical wiring and repairs when faults occur.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Identify electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and system performance.
• Coordinate with contractors for electrical works, repairs, and upgrades.
• Ensure generators, switchboards, and control panels are functioning properly.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures for all electrical activities.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation is an added advantage.
