About the role

MAIA Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our client's facilities. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Perform installations, maintenance, testing and repairs on electrical systems, including protection relays, motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment

Interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and other technical documentation

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and technologies

What we're looking for

Possess a valid Chargeman A4 or Wireman PW4 certificate

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Technician or a similar role within the energy or manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of electrical principles, equipment, and safety protocols

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and urgent/breakdown on-call

Have a driving license B2, D
