Job summary

A leading asset management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to engage in the troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have at least an SPM/SPVM qualification and preferably some experience in facility management. This role involves ensuring the functionality of various equipment, including kitchen appliances and HVAC systems, ensuring safety in operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/SPVM qualification required.
• Diploma in relevant field is an added advantage.
• Preferably have previous experience in facility management.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Engage in maintenance of kitchen and cooling equipment.
• Maintain water supply and sewage systems.
• Keep daily logs of equipment functionality.
• Report breakdowns and unsafe conditions.

Skills

Technical proficiency in electrical systems

Good communication skills

Education

Minimum SPM/SPVM qualification

Recognized Diploma in relevant field

Job description

Participate and engage in the repair and maintenance, installation, and operation of electrical equipment.

Perform preventive, corrective maintenance work & etc.

Participate in maintenance and repair of all electrical devices and control of split type air conditioner.

Engage in maintenance and repairing of kitchen equipment, freezer, chiller, gas straps and ovens, ice machinery and exhaust hood fans.

Engage in the maintenance of water supply system, sewage system and its sewage treatment plant.

To perform daily/weekly routine for PABX, UPS, GEN-SET and etc.

To maintain daily log sheets for the equipment needed.

To report any major breakdown, faults and defects for the equipment.

Take care of own health and safety.

Participate in OSH training, campaign, and promotional sessions.

Understand and follow the company's OSH policy.

To participate in risk, safety, quality, environmental and business continuity activities of the organization.

Report any job-related injuries, strains, or illnesses as a result of doing your job to the Head of Facility.

Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Minimum SPM/ SPVM qualification. Recognized Diploma in relevant field is an added advantage.

Preferably have previous experience in facility management.

Technically sound and capable.

Possess good oral and written communication skills.
