To support the Assistant Manager, Senior Engineer, Senior Executive, or Engineer in managing all electrical corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and CAPEX projects to ensure high reliability of the electrical system.
Job Description
Assist in implementing and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems including HM, UPS, SCADA, E-Block, Reefer, Street Light, Building Lightings, SCTS, High Bay, etc., according to maintenance schedules and report any irregularities. Ensure availability and reliability of equipment.
Assist in analyzing reactive and proactive work progress data for continuous improvement.
Assist in managing spare parts inventory related to electrical systems.
Participate in ongoing in-house improvement activities.
Responsible for attending "on-call" duties and responding promptly to major breakdowns or emergencies.
Ensure all safety standards are complied with throughout the department, maintaining a high Safety Maturity Score.
Ensure all work complies with local legislation such as Electricity Supply Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994, EMEER 2008, OSHA, FMA, and PTP requirements.
Record and report all unsafe system findings and non-conformances to superiors.
Perform duties as required by local legislation, including the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulation 1994.
Perform any other duties as directed by superiors.
Implement and uphold Information Security (IS) and IT policies to protect organizational information, assets, and intellectual property.
Requirements
Possess a minimum diploma in Electrical Engineering, electrician certification, or equivalent.
1-2 years of relevant work experience.
Strong electrical maintenance skills.
Ability to handle electrical breakdowns and troubleshoot safely.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in record keeping and MS Office applications.
Good communication and writing skills in English and Malay.
