Job summary

GREEN PLUS CONSULTANCY (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Resident Engineer in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur to oversee the technical delivery and operations of client projects on a contract basis.

The role involves coordinating the technical aspects of engineering projects, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring adherence to standards and safety protocols. Weekly site visits are required, with on-site supervision and reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Resident Engineer or in a similar role.
• Registered with Energy Commission Malaysia (ST) as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical/electronic engineering with good understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering regulations, standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the technical aspects of engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present technical reports, documentation and proposals.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols.
• Provide on-site support and supervision to the project team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.
• Visit site once a week.
