Job summary
Recron Malaysia is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to troubleshoot and repair electrical and PLC systems in a manufacturing environment. You will program and modify PLCs, integrate systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), and ensure all plant automation runs reliably.
Applicant should have a degree in Instrumentation Engineering with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, strong diagram-reading skills, familiarity with SCADA/HMI, and CMMS usage to document maintenance actions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Instrumentation systems and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of plant PLC systems and drives troubleshooting.
- Skilled in reading electrical diagrams and performing field diagnostics.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing plant maintenance.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMI programming, and industrial communication protocols.
- Knowledge of maintenance reporting systems (e.g., CMMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities

- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and electrical standards.
