Job summary

Sepangar Chemical Industry Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking a skilled Technician to support the maintenance and smooth operation of electrical and mechanical systems. You will perform preventive and corrective tasks and document maintenance activities.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Engineering, 2+ years in M&E, and a Chargeman AO competency is highly preferred. You must be able to work in shifts, including weekends or public holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• STPM, Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Maintenance, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in M&E maintenance.
• Chargeman AO competency certificate/licence is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and M&E systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and building-related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs promptly.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures and safety requirements.
