Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Kota Kinabalu is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and coordinate building services. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include preparing technical reports, tender documentation, and liaising with authorities, while fostering strong client and contractor relationships.

Job description

Design & coordinate M&E building services.

Knowledge in HV/LV Power Distribution, Lightning Protection System, ELV System, ICT Services.

Knowledge in Lift / Escalator System, Fire Protection Services, ACMV, Coldwater & Sanitary Plumbing Services, LPG System.

Prepare Bill of Quantity (BQ), QA/QC, Technical Reports, Tender documentation, Tender Analysis, Contract Documents, etc.

Liaise with local authorities for drawings, materials & work approvals.

Attend project meetings to coordinate with client, architects, other consultants & contractors.

Any other duties assigned by your immediate superior, whenever necessary.

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic / Mechanical).

2-3 years working experience in related field.

Computer literacy with knowledge in MS Office & AutoCAD / BricsCAD.

Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Good interpersonal and communication/negotiation skills; good contacts with clients / suppliers / contractors, etc.

Resourceful, self-motivated & able to work independently.

Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
