Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager for Maintenance & Critical Response at our JB campus. You will lead electrical switching, diagnose faults in LV/MV gear, supervise technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across critical facilities.

The role covers developing SOPs, coordinating emergency responses, and maintaining logs for UPS, switchgear, and generators while upholding safety and on-call duties 24/7.

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman / Licensed Electrical Engineer certification (or equivalent country license).
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in critical facilities or industrial electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding systems, generators, and other electrical infrastructure
• Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices.
• Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing in accordance with licensing requirements and safety standards.
• Diagnose faults and repair LV/MV switchgear, UPS, generators, etc.
• Assist in developing MOPs and SOPs for electrical maintenance.
• Supervise technicians and ensure safe and proper execution of work.
• Review maintenance quality, safety permits, and completeness of documentation.
• Support emergency response during incidents.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential risks before failure occurs.
• Ensure statutory compliance, certifications, and maintenance logs are up to date.
