Job summary

Evlos, an AI company in Malaysia, seeks motivated students for an internship focused on assembling and testing custom machines and vision systems. You will work closely with engineers and technicians in a hands-on environment, learning mechanical and electrical integration, machine building, and troubleshooting.

• Pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Basic understanding of mechanical tools, electrical wiring, or assembly processes.
• Strong interest in automation, robotics, or vision system integration.
• Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and follow technical instructions.
• Team player with attention to detail and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and installing components for automation infrastructure supporting vision inspection systems.
• Support troubleshooting of basic mechanical and electrical issues during assembly and installation under supervision.
• Help perform technical checks and quality inspections to ensure systems meet required specifications.
• Assist in preparing design layouts, documentation, and updating schematics/blueprints for assembly processes.
• Work with engineers during product demonstrations, design reviews, and on-site installations.
• Learn and support tasks involving machine wiring, pneumatic routing, and cable trunking organization.
• Participate in basic machine testing to verify proper functionality.
• Help collect and document machine data needed for internal verification or customer buy-off.
• Support the project team during customer buy-off sessions and on-site installations as required.
