Responsibilities

• Support major machine trouble
• Manage machine spare parts and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with Japan side for any related to electrical technical issue
• Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
• Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Maintaining and improving existing machine and equipment.
• Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
• Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
• Analysing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
• Conducting research, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment.
• Communicate with Japan side for any related to technical issue.

Skills Needed

• Able communicate in Japanese language.
• Basic theory of electricity
• Knowledge in PLC and operation screen (GOT) (software & hardware)
• - Mitsubishi PLC and GOT is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of inverters and servomotor
• Control block diagram (speed control, etc.)
• Handling high voltage equipment
• Understand concept of power line protection
• Extensive practical experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
