Job summary

CEEC JSPDI (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Coordinator for Bestari Jaya project site to support solar PV development.

You will review electrical drawings, verify material specs, coordinate with designers, suppliers and subcontractors, and assist with RFI closure. Responsibilities include monitoring submission schedules, supporting commissioning, and updating as-built drawings while liaising with Owner, consultants and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in solar PV projects is advantageous.
• Relevant internship or project experience is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, single-line diagrams, equipment datasheets and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and AutoCAD; familiarity with PDF review tools is advantageous.
• Good communication and coordination skills; ability to prepare clear technical correspondence.
• Organised, responsible and able to follow up on outstanding actions and deadlines.
• Willing to work at Bestari Jaya project site and coordinate with construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and coordinate technical comments with designers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Check equipment datasheets and confirm material compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor drawing submission schedules and follow up to achieve AFC status.
• Provide technical support to construction teams and assist with RFI preparation and closure.
• Verify site conditions for design coordination and check suitability of locally available materials.
• Support commissioning preparation, technical documentation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate as-built drawing updates, final submissions and handover documentation.
• Liaise with the OE, Owner, consultants and other relevant parties.
