A global technology solutions provider in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design control systems and support electrical safety testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in electrical panel development and proficiency in relevant engineering tools. Qualifications

  • Around 5 years of experience in electrical panel development for thermal products.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good understanding about inverters, drives, and pumps.

Responsibilities

  • Designs control system and low voltage electrical enclosures.
  • Sustains engineering of current production designs.
  • Create and maintain components in the design tools.
  • Coordinate CE / UL testing of product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and support.

Designs control system and low voltage electrical enclosures (
  • Sustains engineering of current production designs.
  • Creating and maintain components in the design tools.
  • Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds
  • Develop test case for electrical safety test of product
  • Responsible for coordinate for CE / UL testing of product
  • Collaborates with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.

    • Around 5 years of experience in Electrical panel development for thermal products
    • Around 5 years of experience using Electrical panel Life cycle management or Product documentation management tools.
    • Good understanding about Inverters / Drives and Pumps

    • Experience with ELCAD schematic or similar tools.
    • Experience working with electrical power / current / harmonics etc. measurements equipment
    • Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles.
    • Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests on board level products.
    • Experience in design for testability and manufacturability.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
    • Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.
