Job summary

Haemonetics Interventional Technologies in Batu Kawan (Penang) seeks an Electrical Engineer to sustain products and production. You will manage component lifecycle, review schematics and BOMs, and support daily manufacturing on Penang lines with fixture maintenance and troubleshooting.

You’ll drive ECOs, document changes, and ensure compliance with quality systems. Collaboration with R&D, QA, and contract manufacturers is essential in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of electrical, component, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with regulated environments (ISO 13485; IEC 60601 awareness).
• Familiarity with ECOs, supplier change notifications, and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Component Engineering: manage lifecycle, obsolescence and LT B analysis; qualify alternates; review SCN/SPN; support ECOs.
• Manufacturing Support: provide hands-on engineering support on Penang lines; maintain test fixtures; perform debugging with lab equipment.
• Documentation & Qualification: update drawings, BOMs, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols; support CAPA and change control.
• Cross-functional: collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain; work across time zones; travel 10–15% as needed.
