Ventiva is pioneering the next generation of thermal management, delivering air intelligence for electronic devices. Our breakthrough Ionic Cooling Engine (ICE) technology provides efficient, silent cooling without fans—eliminating noise, vibration, and dust while enabling sleek, high-performance designs that traditional solutions can’t support. We are empowering OEMs and ODMs to break free from the conventional design constraints of the computing platforms used to tap into the AI infrastructure, from edge devices to enterprise hardware.

Ventiva solutions are unlocking new possibilities for electronics, enabling compute-intensive systems that are lightweight, quiet, and uncompromising in performance. If you thrive in a dynamic environment that values authenticity and bold thinking, and want to have an impact on the future of electronics, Ventiva is the place to do it.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary hardware development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printed circuit board (PCB) layout, and thermal engineering for electronics systems. You will play a key role in designing, validating, and optimizing high-performance electronic systems used in consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the engineering team developing the first Solid State Active Thermal Solution for laptops, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and performance.
  • Design and optimize multilayer PCB layouts for high-speed digital and analog circuits.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers and PCB layout designers to meet electrical, mechanical, and thermal constraints.
  • Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to ensure thermal reliability and compliance with design requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing to ensure seamless product development.
  • Perform design reviews, component selection, schematic capture, and layout verification.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal performance, and board bring-up.
  • Participate in prototype builds, testing, and validation of hardware systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design with a focus on PCB layout and hardware validation.
  • Solid understanding of thermal design principles and thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, FloTHERM).
  • Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and board-level design practices.
  • Experience working with high-speed interfaces (e.g., USB, PCIe, DDRx, Ethernet).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DFX principles (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, etc.).
  • Familiarity with thermal testing equipment and techniques (e.g., thermocouples).
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance testing (FCC, CE, UL, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ventiva, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
