About the role

MAIA Energy Sdn Bhd, a leading electrical service company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, modification and maintenance of our state-of-the-art solar energy systems. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Plan and manage the installation/modification of electrical systems for power plants and other renewable energy projects

Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of the client's electrical facility to ensure optimal performance and safety

Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues, implementing corrective measures to minimise downtime

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution

Staying up-to-date with electrical standards & regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve our systems and processes continuously

Providing technical support and training to the operations team to enhance their knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply or a minimum 1 year of experience in Electrical engineering company.

Proficient in electrical system design, installation, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with relevant safety standards and electrical regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Adaptability and willingness to learn and practise electrical testing and relay calibrations.

Have Driving license B2,D

Willing to work outstation, on-call or emergency breakdown call-up
