ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

PROJECT TERM ROLE OF 8 TO 10 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO RENEWAL

Employment Type:

Contract (e.g., 8–12 months)

Salary Range:

RM 6,000 – RM 10,000/month (depending on experience and project scope)

LOCATION: MALAYSIA, SEDENAK

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical systems in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian electrical codes (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations) and international standards.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into building designs.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security systems.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction and post-handover phases.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and local authorities to ensure timely project delivery.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives (e.g., Green Building Index compliance).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in building services or construction projects.
• Proficient in electrical design software and project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• CIDB and/or Suruhanjaya Tenaga certification is an advantage.
