About the Role

An Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment used in the production process. To ensure that machinery and systems operate efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. Includes, troubleshooting electrical issues, optimizing processes, overseeing installations, and collaborating with other departments to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

Job Description

1. Software Programming - Circuit Diagram

• Develop and update electrical circuit diagrams using tools like EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to match software control to physical wiring.

2. Machine Effectiveness (Quantity, Quality, Safety)

• Quality: Use automation to reject defects and maintain tolerance standards.

• Safety: Program safety interlocks, emergency stops, and comply with safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849).

3. Production Efficiency (Wiring & Program)

• Optimize program execution time and logical flow to reduce cycle time.

• Design modular and reusable code to streamline maintenance and scaling.

• Simplify and label wiring for faster troubleshooting and setup.

4. Cost Awareness (Budget VS Actual)

• Monitor software development and electrical installation costs.

• Compare planned BOM, man-hours, and software licenses against actual.

• Identify areas of overspending or savings (e.g., optimizing sensor types or reducing panel complexity).

• Collect machine data to identify bottlenecks or recurring faults.

• Implement code updates and hardware tweaks to improve performance.

6. General Support

• Assist production and maintenance teams during machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

7. B.O.M Establishment (Bill of Materials)

• Generate and maintain a detailed BOM including all electrical and control components.

• Ensure the BOM matches circuit diagram and panel layout.

Qualification & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

Experienced in Manufacturing fields.

Experienced in Handling Production Automation/Machines.

Experienced in Handling Production Machine System/Program.
