Job summary

VISTAS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is seeking a senior electrical operations professional to manage campus electrical systems including 11 kV, 400 V, diesel generators, UPS and distribution equipment.

The role requires independent responsibility for high and low voltage distribution in a data centre or large industrial setting. The candidate will review change sequences, supervise on-site execution, and ensure switching and isolation are correct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, preferably power systems or electrical automation.
• Minimum 5 years in data centre or large industrial electrical operations, with independent responsibility for 11 kV and below distribution.
• Must hold the local electrical licence — Chargeman A4 or above in Malaysia, electrician licence in Thailand, electrical competence certificate in Indonesia.
• Proficient in protection coordination, load calculation, short-circuit current, and UPS and generator loading characteristics.
• English sufficient to author technical reports and operating procedures; a local language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own technical management of campus electrical equipment, including 11 kV and 400 V switchrooms, diesel generators, UPS, distribution panels, breakers, power, lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Review the sequencing and risk of electrical changes, supervise and guide execution on site, and confirm switching schedules and isolation are correct.
• Prepare annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems and equipment, and track execution quality.
• Author and maintain electrical SOP, EOP and MOP documents, ensuring the current version is in use on site.
• Periodically survey electrical operational risk, maintain the risk register, and drive small rectification works or interim controls to closure.
• Own the quality of electrical maintenance work performed on site, scoring against the KPI sheet and setting improvement requirements.
• Verify specifications and substitutions for electrical spares raised by crews, stores and procurement, preventing wrong-part and downgraded use.
• Review routine and emergency repair reports, assessing whether the work performed and hours booked were reasonable.
• Produce the weekly electrical report covering distribution status, capacity, power-up and power-down records, PUE analysis and alarm resolution.
• Deliver electrical skills training and drills, raising the crew's standards of operation and emergency response.
• Translate the standards and acceptance criteria issued by the Electrical Supervisor / Expert into site-level work instructions and checklists, collecting execution deviations and feeding them back for revision.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
