Job description
Phase 1: Operations Fundamentals

Goal: Build a strong foundation in data centre operations and safety.

  • Gain an overview of data centre workflows and core operational structures.
  • Learn the functions of critical infrastructure systems (UPS, generators, cooling, power distribution).
  • Understand site safety standards, access controls, and engineering procedures.
  • Support the creation of daily logs, operational documents, and checklists.
Phase 2: Live Operations Immersion

Goal: Acquire hands-on experience through shadowing operations teams.

  • Rotate with 24/7 shift teams to observe real-time operations.
  • Assist in regular inspections of infrastructure and environmental systems.
  • Learn to monitor and interpret alarms/alerts using BMS or DCIM platforms.
  • Support initial incident response and escalation processes.
  • Take part in shift handovers, SOP reviews, and emergency response drills.
Phase 3: Maintenance Exposure

Goal: Develop practical understanding of maintenance practices and vendor management.

  • Participate in scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Study maintenance cycles for key systems (UPS, switchgear, generators, HVAC).
  • Observe and assist during vendor works, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Contribute to drafting and reviewing technical documentation (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs).
  • Collect and analyse performance data, incidents, and maintenance history.
  • Assist in managing spare parts stock and maintenance records.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Fresh graduates Chinese speaker preferred
  • College degree or above, major in electrical, electronics or related
  • Good execution, communication and organization skills, able to coordinate resources with internal and external departments.
  • Have good logical thinking ability, sense of responsibility, strong willingness to learn and strong self-motivation.
